e-Channel synchronous online services are available to Ontario literacy and basic skills organizations, agencies and networks.

During an organization's e-Channel class or meeting participants can:

• speak with each other;
• see written information, photos, diagrams, graphs, etc. on their computer monitor;
• use a whiteboard;
• visit websites; and,
• share computer software applications.

e-Channel literacy courses offered by Ontario literacy organizations agencies and networks are coordinated by a Ministry of Training, Universities, and Colleges appointed lead organization. Lead organizations for each respective literacy streams are:
